Who we are
Little Regulated Life is a small business based in the UK. Little Regulated Life decides how the personal data described here is used, which makes it the “data controller”. You can contact us about anything in this notice at hello@littleregulatedlife.com.
What we collect and why
- Email sign-ups. When you ask for the free starter set, we collect your email address to send you the set and occasional emails about new kits and offers. We do this with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
- Purchases. If you buy on Payhip or Etsy, they handle your order and payment under their own privacy policies, and share with us what we need to deliver your download, such as your name, email address and order details.
- Emails you send us. We keep them so we can reply and help with your order.
- Website visits. Our web host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security. We don’t use advertising cookies or tracking on this site. The sign-up form is provided by Kit, which may set a cookie to remember that you’ve subscribed. When you press a Buy button, Payhip’s checkout opens and its own privacy policy applies.
- The Card Maker. Your cards are saved in your own browser only. Nothing you type is sent to us.
Who helps us
Kit (email), Cloudflare (website hosting and forwarding emails sent to us), Payhip (shop) and Etsy (marketplace) process data for these purposes. Where they are outside the UK, transfers are protected by legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe, and then only a note not to email you again. Order records are kept for six years for tax.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@littleregulatedlife.com. If you’re not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
